Wake up

Let your brain feel safe in your body.

Pick one:

  • Yoga
  • Walk
  • Meditate

Observe

You need to be someone who takes care of himself today. Then tomorrow. Then the next day.

  • When you reach for your phone,
    • Ask, what do I actually need right now?
  • Your thoughts:
    • Don't judge them.
  • When you feel dysregulation:
    • 5 Minute cold shower
    • Box breathing
    • Vigorous movement
    • Humming or singing
    • Talk to someone

Sleep

Poor sleep -> dysregulated nervous system -> no motivation.

Pick one:

  • List 3 Things I'm grateful for.
    • I'm grateful I got ready and it feels good to look good and take more care of myself.
  • How I felt? What caused it? How I'd like to feel tomorrow?

Rules

Instead of committing to giant changes forever, run 2-week experiments.

  • First Day: Today (Oct 11th: 7 PM); Last day: Day 14 (Oct 25th: 7 PM)
  • Non-City Day: Bed by 10 PM; City Day: Walk towards Penn by 10 PM
  • Set a daily intent. Wear Oura Ring.

After 2 weeks, "Did this make me feel more safe, excited, and alive? Should I keep it, adjust it, or try something else?"
