When I started writing this, I felt a wave of pessimistic energy that I was trying desperately to cut. This is an energetic shift exercise that worked for me.
This was my phone Lock Screen. Two glasses, one captioned half full, the other half empty.
So, I came up with this exercise.
Exercise: Dead! You don't exist. Imagine, you were hit by a car. Your problems gone. How big those worries felt, how unfair everything was, suddenly seems tiny.
Oh, what you do for another chance to live one more day! Sit in it for 2 minutes.
You really miss:
- your ability to be present
- to feel anything
- to smile
- to see anything out of your eyes
- to think any thought
- to hear anything
- to make eye contact with anyone
- you miss it all so much that you'd be grateful for the ground you stand on, the people around you, all that was taken away from you.
Glass Half Full: Now, imagine you only have a minute to be back alive! You're alive. You get to do whatever, feel whatever, but it's only a minute. Would you be pessimistic, hell no! You'd be so overjoyed! Feel that energy shift, that's how you need to spend life. We think we have forever, but some day we'll be on have a on our last minutes. Live it as if that is right now!
